Hey there, My Beautiful Friends!
I mixed this Healing Protein Smoothie up in my Vitamix Blender for a couple of friends. Her husband had mouth surgery, which will keep him from being able to chew for a while. So, when you can’t chew your proteins, we have to call an audible. My friends don’t drink many smoothies, so I had my work cut out for me.
I used a few different ingredients that offer a protein punch and added some fruit and of course a leafy green.
To make this smoothie I mixed the following ingredients up in my Vitamix. If you want to thin your smoothie, you are welcome to add more milk or water. Adding more milk will of course add calories, which won’t hurt my friend with a limited diet. But if you are working on losing weight, you might want to add water. This amount of ingredients made up (2) 8 ounce glasses plus a little less than one cup for a Sharing Sample.
- 2 frozen Bananas (I used the banana pieces I had previously frozen)
- 6 washed Romaine Leaves
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Almond Butter (Protein!)
- 3 Tbsp Hemp Seeds (Protein!)
- 3/4 cup Greek Yogurt (Protein!)
- 2 cups unsweetened Almond Milk (Protein!)
This Healing Protein Smoothie is one of several Sharing Samples I mixed up & froze for our friends. Fingers crossed one works for them and maybe this one will work for You, too.
